Application of the measuring device and its features :
DM 104 is an electronic measuring device, providing high-precision and quality measurements, used for measuring lengths of materials in industrial applications. It measures lengths in mm, cm, m, km, m2 and m3.
The device measures length by means of an auxiliary rolling mechanism with a built-in increment sensor. It evaluates impulses of from a sensor, while in the standard model it is 500 pulses / revolution of the rolling mechanism (adaptation to the customer's needs).
The device allows to change the scope of measurement by entering new parameters of the diameter of the rolling mechanism and the number of pulses per revolution. The measured values can be sensed simultaneously by means of up to three sensors. The device can have up to 20 discrete outputs and 3 discrete inputs, which can be used for further control of the operation of production equipment ( e.g. cutting of material according to preset values ).
The device works in real time and it can statistically evaluate measurements within time intervals (number of measured lengths, mean value, average value, maximum / minimum value within a time period, differences in measured values when using two or three sensors for control measurement).
The device can be connected to a higher-level control unit - a PC, using special software for statistical processing of measured values with graphic display, or it can be connected to a company server.
The operation of the device can be blocked by means of a numerical code.
DM 104 length measuring device can find its application in measuring of lengthy materials and their production control (fabric, carpets, floor-covering materials, wires, pipes, etc.). It is possible to build it into a production line, as a control element with operational outputs for a control centre, or to use it as a separate control workplace in central warehouses with lengthy goods. The device can control the operation of cutting machines. The manufacturer can secure the supply of a complete measuring workplace, or he can adapt the measuring device to specific equipment, production line, according to the customer's needs.
The device is manufactured in a standard as well as above-standard versions.

The device is built into a casing (290 x 260 x 70 mm) with its own power supply. It can be comfortably controlled by means of a keyboard and two displays :
A 6-digit numerical (red LED) display shows measured values and sorted groups ;
An alphanumerical (illuminated LCD) display shows information during the programming of the device or communication with a PC ;

DM 104 measuring device can find its application at large-volume production control workplaces during measurement and immediate evaluation of measured values. In the textile industry it can be used for the measurement of dilatation / contraction of materials.
Demands of individual control workplaces and customers' requirements of specific measurements and modifications of the device determine individual features of the device, as well as its value.
The device is manufactured on order, according to provided parameters and technical data. Its price depends on the required measurement precision and above-standard features. The manufacturer reserves a right to change the prices of the device specified in the price-list, depending on the exchange rate of the Slovak currency, customs fees, import tariffs, or other regulations issued by the Slovak authorities.
