The ISV 58 incremental rotary sensor transforms rotary movement into electrical signals. Its function is identical with the ISH 58 type. The difference between them is in the possibility of direct mounting of a gear wheel (tooth, friction...) on the sensor's shaft. The transformation of mechanical movement into electrical signals is secured by a high-resolution photoelectric contact-free sensor. By analyzing the sequence of electric signals it is possible to determine the rotation angle, direction and speed of one mechanical part against the other. The high resolution, photoelectric contact-free sensing of rotation and the mechanical resistance of the design ensure high precision and reliability of this incremental rotary sensor.
